Bessemer is hiring a Senior Associate for its growth investing team in San Francisco, working directly with partner Byron Deeter across AI apps and infrastructure, defense, techbio, energy and other roadmaps. Described as a "full stack" investor role spanning thesis development, sourcing and relationship building with founders and executives ahead of a raise, due diligence (financial modeling, cohort and retention analysis, market sizing, customer calls), writing investment recommendations, and portfolio support on KPIs, board prep, introductions and follow-on financings. Some brand and content work is also included. Requirements: 3 to 6+ years of experience, ideally in investment banking, consulting, private equity, growth equity, high-growth startups or venture capital. Prior venture experience is a plus but not required. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills are required. The posting notes regular travel, late nights and intense sprints.
