GC Wealth is General Catalyst's independent wealth and asset management business, serving high net worth individuals, family offices, foundations and not for profit organisations. The Client Service Associate works alongside Relationship Managers and Analysts to support client accounts day to day. Responsibilities include client onboarding (account openings, KYC documentation, entity setup for trusts and LLCs), processing cash movements, wires, journals and securities transfers, account maintenance such as beneficiary and address updates, and monitoring accounts for required actions like RMDs and KYC refreshes. The role also supports alternative investment activity including subscriptions, capital calls and redemptions, tracks outstanding items across custodians and banks, and maintains audit ready documentation for reporting and compliance. Requirements: a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or a related field, and 1 to 3 years of experience as a Client Service Associate or in a similar role at a wealth management or investment advisory firm. In-depth knowledge of custodial platforms, account administration and financial operations is expected. Experience with wealth management technology platforms and CRM systems is preferred.
